Loch Shiel - Loch Moidart - Loch Ailort Canoe Circuit

This is our video of the Loch Shiel Canoe circuit. It took us 3 days, wild camping along the way. We started out at on Loch Shiel paddled our way down towards the River Shiel. We followed the River Shiel down into Loch Moidart. After taking the Loch Moidart north channel, we eventually ended up on the sea. We paddled around the headland, and into Glenuig bay. Finally we set out to sea to explore the islands, before returning to civilization via Loch Ailort. This is a beautiful expedition in a beautiful part of Scotland. Obviously the sea portion of the trip is very weather dependent, we were extremely lucky. The Canoe/Kayak we used here is a Tango Z-Pro TA300. It is fast and agile for a inflatable and has a good carrying capacity. We paired it with a Windpaddle Cruiser and managed to us the sail the whole way through the trip.
