Join me as I head out to explore Mission Bay’s Long North Jetty in beautiful San Diego, California, I was hoping to hook into some keeper fish! With a 5.1-foot high tide rolling in, the huge swells made for an exciting day — and the surfers were loving every minute of it. 🌊 I managed to catch 10 fish total, keeping only two for dinner and releasing the rest. The weather was perfect, the ocean views were unreal, and it was another reminder of how incredible San Diego’s coastline truly is. On this trip, I focused mostly on the channel side of the jetty due to the rough surf, but next time I plan to hit the surf side hard — stay tuned for that one!
