Railfanning the Yadkin Valley Railroad in Tobaccoville, Elkin, Siloam, and Rural Hall NC (2/26/25)

February 26th, 2025- Yadkin Valley Railroad Locations in Video- -Tobaccoville, North Carolina (Forsyth County) -Elkin, North Carolina (Surry County) -Siloam, North Carolina (Surry County) -Rural Hall, North Carolina (Forsyth County) I took a Trip down to Rural Hall NC on Wednesday, February 26th, 2025 to start my Railfanning adventure for the day. From Rural Hall (No Video) I headed out to Tobaccoville where I got that Video of the Yadkin Valley Railroad's YV1 heading West towards Elkin NC, I then hit Rockford but had no luck there so I decided to head on to Elkin where I caught YVRR's ET2 coming back in from working out towards Roaring River NC. In Elkin I watched as YV1 came roaring into town to take the Empty, 85 car long train back to Winston-Salem NC. I chased the now YV2 back through Siloam and finally ended up back in Rural Hall where I caught them just in time to watch them leave Rural Hall and head South towards Winston-Salem.
