Backpacking the Goat Rocks Wilderness: McCall Basin, the Knife, Goat Lake, and Sheep Lake.
This is a 5 day/4 night backpacking trip through the Goat Rocks Wilderness in Washington State's Southern Cascades. I go about this trip solo thru hot the dry conditions of mid-August. Being my first time to the Goat Rocks, this was a "get to know you" type of backpacking trip. I liked what I saw and want to return again for future adventures in other parts of the Wilderness.
