This is without a doubt the craziest video shoot experience I have ever had. This is everything that happened the day of the shoot My Bag got stolen with a drone, Go Pro and computer in it Jumped off a dock into the harbor Bag returned Recorded in an antique car Got rained on during the photoshoot Car got a flat tire Crashed drone Camera guy got a date… … oh yeah and filmed a music vid I think all the chaos made the shoot so much more special. It also gave me more fuel during the shoot, when my bag first got stolen and we did all we could. It also made me more courageous during the shoot. The majority of this video was shot at Cisco beach, with the rest in downtown Nantucket. While we were at Cisco, I saw a cool antique beach car and just decided to walk right up to the owner. I told him about the video Mario and I were shooting and asked if he would drive me around in the car for some drone shots. He was down, so I grabbed my drone and showed Mario in about 30 seconds how to operate it and we got to filming. Mario ended up flying the drone into a tree, but the drone was fine so we said again “fuck it, might as well carry-on” the drone shot you see from the car shoot is now in the “Pretty One Remix” video. Another cool fact is that I finished Cisco, the song, the night before our shoot, so I ended up only getting three hours of sleep before the shoot. I think Mario and I knew it was going to be a crazy day even before it started. I texted him: “I only got three hours of sleep last night, this might not end well”. He replied: “Yeah, something tells me today is gonna be crazy”. And that, it was.
