LEARNING CONTENTMENT IN EVERY SEASON 🌧️✝️ In today’s devotional, Allen reflects on Philippians 4:10–13, where Paul writes from prison about learning the secret of contentment. Whether in abundance or in need, whether in high times or low times, Paul declares that he has learned to be content — and that he can do all things through Christ who strengthens him. Often, Philippians 4:13 is quoted as a statement of limitless achievement. But in context, Paul is speaking about endurance. He is saying that through Christ, he can endure hardship, scarcity, uncertainty, and loss. Allen shares personally about walking through health challenges and the difficult possibility of letting go of something he loves. It may seem like a small thing in the grand scheme, but seasons of change test our contentment and reveal where we place our identity. The message is simple yet profound: Christ may not always remove the hardship. But He will walk with you through it. Whether you are experiencing a season of blessing or a season of loss, you can endure it — not in your own strength, but in His.
