General info: Talents: Standard pve fire Gear: 374 ilvl. I would not recommend trying this below 370 Summary: P1 to P3 is completely scripted and you want to do it in the safest way possible so you can start P4 with all cds and full hp/mana. P4 is the hard part, P5 is a freebie as long as you don't greed. P1: 00:00 P2: 05:16 P3: 06:26 P4: 08:50 P5: 12:26 Fight step by step: P1: This is the most boring part of the encounter but doing it correctly is crucial for the rest of the fight to flow smooth. As you can see I'm positioning all 4 advisors' corpses around the instance in a way that I'll have to deal with only one at a time in P3. If you can think of a better way to position them than I did, go ahead. Remember that you always want to kill the last one (engineer) close to Kael, since you want to engage weaps asap as the entire fight is on a timer once P1 ends. Kill the engineer few seconds before your Remote Toy fades. P2: Not much to say about this one, los to stack them all then images and pray for a good bust. If you don't kill them as fast and your images die, don't panic, just kite while blasting and keep yourself healthy. Loot staff, equip, put in bars, use buff. P3: Now that you got the staff buff you're gonna be immune to toy/conflag so fear is the only one you worry about, which you can outrange. Nuke each advisor 1 by 1 as they come and try to take as less damage as possible while doing so. Use short cds if necessary then delay killing Thaladred as much as possible so you get them back up for Kael. P4: Hardest phase by far and it's a race. You want to burn him to 50% as fast as possible to phase him. Kael has an mc which he will use even if you're alone, but unless you have images/pets up it won't do anything. Therefore, as soon as he MCes (the MC is recognizable by him yelling "Obey me!" or "Bow to my Will!") you want to pop images, lust, every cooldown on earth and blast away. Start by baiting his flamestrike away from the LoS spots. LoS/outrange fireballs when possible and save cs for pyroblast. If he casts shock barrier into pyro and you don't have a current big dot burst going on to break the barrier you have to block it then cs the 3rd cast. Pyro can't be outranged or LoSed. Hopefully you phased him early enough, now he'll start running to his room to do the P5 RP. He can and will likely stop in the middle of his way to do shockbarrier pyro like you see in the video, be ready for it. P5: He will no longer do pyro or mc in this phase. He will do gravity lapse soon after it starts, just afk/press shields through it because you'll likely kill yourself trying to break his barrier spam. Hit phoenixes/eggs. Resume damage after it ends and use images freely, since no mc. Until you get experienced enough with the fight, play safe here to just seal the deal. Good luck with ashes fellow blue brothers!
