Welcome to my latest travel documentary! This time, I arrive in Bangladesh, a country which is rapidly developing but at the same time is the poorest country in Asia. With only 10,000 yen (approximately 70 US dollars) I explore and see how far this money will take me. This is the third time I am trying this 10,000 yen challenge. How will it be this time? I was eager to experience the local culture and see how the people of Bangladesh live their daily lives. I tried the delicious local foods, stayed in several hotels, and even found a secret bar even though Bangladesh is a Muslim country. What really stood out to me was the opportunity to have conversations with the intersting locals. Despite the language barrier, they were incredibly welcoming and eager to share their perspectives on life in Bangladesh. One interesting fact that I witnessed firsthand was the stark contrast between the bright and shady sides of this developing country. While Bangladesh is rapidly growing and making progress, there are still pockets of poverty that exist alongside the wealthy areas.
