In this eye-opening travel documentary, join me as I explore the captivating city of Ulaanbaatar, the heart of Mongolia. With a limited budget of approximately 70$, I was surprised to discover a highly developed city adorned with modern shopping malls and towering buildings. As I delved deeper into the town's scenic surroundings, the remnants of its socialist past and the influence of Tibetan culture became apparent, showcasing a fascinating blend of histories. My journey led me to savor the delectable local cuisine, rich in the flavorful essence of mutton, and indulge in purchasing traditional clothing. However, amidst the allure of the city's prosperity, there is the reality of wealth disparity in Mongolia. The contrasting lifestyles became evident when I visited the Ger district, where impoverished communities lived in Mongolian yurts, sometimes without necessities like clean water and electricity. But to my surprise, their life is a bit different from what I read on the internet. They are not as miserable as the internet says... You can see their real life in this video. Experiencing this disparity firsthand was a poignant reminder of the importance of seeing things with our own eyes. Join me on this insightful voyage and don't forget to subscribe to the channel for more remarkable travel explorations. In this video, I also share how I make friends in different countries.
