Conway Scenic train in the snow! Winter in Crawford Notch - 2/15/2025

In this video we follow the Conway Scenic "Winter in Crawford" train that has been running over the past few months. This is the first season the Conway Scenic is running regularly scheduled trains through the notch in winter so it was a must see in the snow. We follow the train from North Conway to Crawford and back with former Maine Central GP38 255 for power. 255 ran on these rails historically for Maine Central when they ran trains from Portland, Maine to St. Johnsbury, Vermont. 255 returned to these rails in 2021 after being purchased from Vermont Rail and I hope it will be painted to match 252 soon. It should be noted that in the 1990's the Conway Scenic reopened the Mountain Division from Intervale to Hazens after a decade of no use.
