In this online presentation and Q&A 'The requirements for Air Power for the UK and for Ukraine', hosted by The Air & Space Power Association, ASPA President Air Marshal Greg Bagwell (Ret'd) CB CBE, talks to Justin Bronk, Senior Research Fellow for Airpower and Technology, RUSI, and the Editor of the RUSI Defence Systems online journal. “Audience With” series of online events is an ideal opportunity for senior RAF / MOD representatives or partners to provide an up-to-date briefing, and to engage in a frank and meaningful discussion on the matters of the day with members of the Air and Space Power community. With all of the current challenges that face the RAF and our new Chief, and a hotly contested debate on the role of fast jets in Ukraine raging on social media, this promises to be an Audience With not to be missed. Justin Bronks particular areas of expertise include the modern combat air environment, Russian and Chinese ground-based air defences and fast jet capabilities, the air war during the Russian invasion of Ukraine, unmanned combat aerial vehicles and novel weapons technology. He has written extensively for RUSI and a variety of external publications, as well as appearing regularly in the international media. The Air & Space Power Association is an authoritative voice and platform for discussion and debate on how air power influences today’s world and its relevance to the future. Our membership comprises highly regarded professionals with a wealth of experience in the air power domain and is open to individuals, businesses, military units, consultants and academics.
