Welcome to the highlight reel from the Women’s+ Enduro hosted by NSMBA (North Shore Mountain Bike Association) on Saturday, September 20, 2025! I had the privilege of volunteering at this inspiring event—here’s a look at the energy, the community, and the trails that made the day special. Event Overview: The Women’s+ Enduro is a stand-alone enduro event created for the women, transgender, nonbinary, and gender-diverse community, welcoming riders at all experience levels. There were two course options: Long Course (5 stages) and Short Course (3 stages), offering a range of trail difficulty to suit everyone. The event began with registration and a course briefing, followed by staggered start times (e-bikes, long course, then short course) to help with trail flow. After the racing, everyone met up for an après at Black Kettle Brewing – a chance to celebrate, share stories, and enjoy some community vibes. Highlights You’ll See in This Video: Race-day atmosphere from sunrise: volunteers setting up, riders warming up, the course briefing. Intense, skillful trail action from both the long and short courses. Moments of support and camaraderie—both among racers and volunteers. The finish line buzz, smiles, fatigue, and triumph. The community gathering at Black Kettle Brewing: good food, good company, and reflection on a day well ridden. Extras: shout-outs to sponsors, efforts to make the event inclusive, and the tribute to Caileigh Koppang—see how everyone came together wearing purple in support. Why This Matters: This event isn’t just about racing—it’s about building an inclusive, encouraging space where everyone (regardless of background, identity, or skill level) gets to push limits, connect with others, and ride with pride. Thanks for watching! If you like what you see, please like, share, and subscribe—and drop a comment if you were there, or if you’ve got a favorite moment. Special thanks to all the riders, organizers, volunteers, and of course, the NSMBA. Big respect for making this day happen. 💜
