Master of Time Travel: Sheikh Uftade | Ladunni Secret in Islam The Mysterious Life of a Saint Who Bent Time and Space In this gripping documentary, we explore the extraordinary and mystical life of Shaykh Üftade — a spiritual master said to have possessed ʿilm al-ladun (the secret knowledge directly from Allah), the power of tayy al-makān (folding space), and basṭ al-zamān (expanding time). Known as one of the most hidden and powerful saints of the Ottoman Empire, Üftade’s story is filled with awe-inspiring miracles, divine visions, and spiritual journeys that go far beyond the boundaries of human understanding. He was not just a scholar, not just a mystic — but a Master of Time Travel, known for his "dedoublement" states, where he appeared in different places at the same moment. One moment in Bursa, the next in Mecca — his presence was like that of Khidr, suddenly appearing to help those in distress. He was said to be one of the “Forty Saints,” hidden protectors of the world, and a spiritual force behind the strength of the Ottoman Empire. Born in Bursa in 1490, Shaykh Üftade lived a humble life rooted in service, knowledge, and spiritual discipline. From a young age, he was drawn to the path of divine wisdom. His early teachers included the spiritually gifted Muṣliḥuddīn Hazrat and the paralyzed but enlightened Ḥiḍr Dede, who trained him in deep riyāḍah (spiritual discipline). Üftade would carry his teacher on his back for years without complaint — a sign of his immense patience and sincerity. Among his most astonishing karāmāt (miracles) were his time and space-bending journeys. He helped a man reach the Ḥajj in seconds through tayy al-makān. He transported dervishes to the Süleymaniye Mosque instantly. He crossed oceans to repair sinking ships. Even Sultan Murad III witnessed his miracles with his own eyes. Shaykh Üftade was also the teacher of the renowned saint ʿAzīz Maḥmūd Ḥudāyī, who gave up his wealth and position after being touched by one of Üftade’s time-bending miracles. The impact of Üftade’s teachings can be felt throughout Ottoman spiritual history and continues to guide seekers of truth to this day. The Shaykh also founded the Celvetiyye Ṭarīqah, which taught that true spiritual growth comes not by retreating from people, but by being among them while staying connected with Allah. This balance between outer life and inner awakening became the essence of his legacy. He always emphasized the importance of shariah (Islamic law) as the guiding thread in all spiritual matters, even warning against speaking about mystical experiences without grounding them in religious truth. Üftade Hazrat passed away at the age of 93, on June 25, 1580. Even in death, he displayed signs of divine closeness — such as opening his eyes three times during his washing, witnessed by his closest students. He left behind not only a spiritual order, but also beautiful poetry full of divine love, written in a simple language that touched common hearts, echoing the voice of Yunus Emre. This video uncovers the life of a saint who didn’t just follow the path — he walked through time itself. ✨ If you found this story inspiring, please like, comment, and subscribe to our channel. 📣 Every interaction helps spread the message of spirituality and truth to more people around the world. 📌 Your support is what keeps this journey alive — thank you for being part of it.
