This short centering meditation guides you to notice what’s happening in your body, breath, and mind at both the beginning and the end of your yoga practice. Centering is an important part of yoga therapy because it helps you turn your attention inward and become aware of what you’re bringing into the practice. By taking a few moments to check in before you begin, you create a baseline for how you’re feeling. Repeating the same centering meditation at the end of your practice allows you to notice what has shifted, physically and mentally.
