Tre is a Goldey-Beacom College graduate who competed in Cross Country and who now works in Cedar Lane Elementary in Middletown, Delaware, as a Behavioral Interventionist for emotional support in the classroom. Sports have a high correlation to life lessons and during his presentation, Tre' Prescott will be emphasizing that one of the biggest takeaway's from sports is a heightened sense of self-awareness. I graduated from Goldey-Beacom College where I was the captain of the Men's Cross Country team. Aside from my time as a runner I am the assistant varsity coach for the boy's basketball team at St. Andrew's High school in Middletown Delaware, and I am the co-director of the MOT Future Stars which is a non-profit youth basketball league located in Middletown Delaware as well. I help organize an event every Fall called "Battle Of The Borders" which is a high school basketball showcase event that raises funds for breast cancer research. Last year the event was located at the 76ers Fieldhouse. I now work at Cedar Lane Elementary in Middletown Delaware where I am the Behavioral Interventionist in an emotional support classroom. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
