Ingredients • 200 g starch • 20 g flour • 180 g yogurt • 2 tablespoons brewed saffron (1 tablespoon for the syrup, 1 tablespoon for the batter) • 2 cups sugar • 1 cup water • Oil as needed (for frying) • 1 teaspoon baking soda • 1 tablespoon glucose • 1 tablespoon lemon juice • 3 tablespoons rose water (2 tablespoons for the syrup, 1 tablespoon for the batter) • 1 tablespoon liquid oil (for the batter) ⸻ Instructions Syrup: Pour the sugar and water into a pot and place it over low heat. Mix well. Then add 2 tablespoons of rose water, 1 tablespoon of saffron, 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, and 1 tablespoon of glucose. Stir well. When the syrup becomes slightly thick, turn off the heat and set it aside. Batter: First, mix the starch and yogurt well. Then add 1 tablespoon of liquid oil, 1 tablespoon of rose water, 1 teaspoon of baking soda, and 1 tablespoon of saffron. Add the flour and mix everything well until smooth. Pour the batter into a bottle and make a small hole in the cap. In a pot with hot oil, pour the batter into the oil in shapes as shown in the video. Fry both sides until slightly golden. Then place them in the syrup that you prepared earlier and coat them well with the syrup. This dessert is a special sweet for Ramadan. It is very delicious and tastes great with tea. ☕️🫖🥨
