Hello! Thank you for watching! I am knitting a pair of socks out of handspun yarn. The yarn is the Winter Morning colorway by Bramble Ridge. It is a blend of 40% Oatmeal BFL, 40% Wensleydale and 20% Mohair. It was a colorway developed as part of the Wool N Spinning community, which I am a part of. As of publishing this video there are a few braids of this fiber left. This was the first time I tried this blend, and I absolutely loved spinning and knitting it. I have one more braid of this blend in a different colorway, and I am looking forward to spinning it. I spun the fiber into a three ply fractal yarn. I used the Basic Top Down sock pattern from Custom Socks by Kate Atherley. If you have any questions about fitting socks this book is wonderful. My ankles are a larger size than my feet, so I customized my socks to accommodate this. I used a size 0, 2mm needle. Thank you for watching! If you have any questions please ask them below. I try to answer them in the comments. Like and subscribe to join me on my spinning adventures.
