DIY Turbo Build | NB MX5 Miata | Installing The Oil & Coolant lines, Intercooler & IAT | Episode 3

On Episode 3 we install the Oil and Coolant lines to the TD04 turbo. The Oil feed is taken from the OEM pressure sensor switch and use an adapter to leave a fitting for the Oil line to connect too. Don't forget to unplug the injectors and removed the ignition leads before trying to prime the lines when cranking The coolant lines are installed by removing an original hose behind the PAS belt and plumbing the Turbo inline between these two outlets. To install the intercooler you have to drill 2 holes, the kit says to drill 2 12mm holes however I drilled 2 x 10mm holes as 12mm was bigger than the head on the bolt supplied. There are 2 predrilled holes on the NB which can be used and make the intercooler nice and central. The stock Air temp sensor has to be removed, the loom needs to be extended using the supplied wire in the kit. The polarity on these does not matter.
