INGREDIENTS👨🍳 Onion - 1 large Octopus - 1 (2.5 lb) Small white potatoes - 5 Coarse sea salt - 2 tbsp Garlic - 6 cloves, crushed Bay leaves - 3 Cilantro- 1 bunch, roughly chopped Black pepper - ½ tsp, freshly ground Olive oil - 300 mL PERSONAL NOTE ✒️ Polvo à Lagareiro is a super popular Portuguese octopus dish. The preparation is relatively simple; essentially, just octopus and potatoes, first boiled and then baked in olive oil with garlic. I simply love octopus, and this dish is genuinely delicious. Please avoid adding salt to the octopus during the boiling step - it would harden the skin. This dish has so much flavor and the smell, while it was in the oven, was just incredible.
