Godfrey Ho - what can you say about the bugger other than he is either a genius or the worlds biggest shyster. Frequently smushing together ninja related footage with an UNrelated half way decent martial arts films, these movies (?) are laugh a minute riots which I'm happy to say have found a new life as of late. The legal loopholes that surely were overlooked with these crapsterpieces boggle my mind to this day. Whether you love them or hate them, the IFD back catalogue was a prominent part of the VHS boom and responsible for tricking us into thinking their films were masterpieces based on the poster art. The clip here is taken from Ninja: The Protector, however, you will find scenes from this movie in probably a dozen other IFD films. This music is a teaser for an upcoming project I'm currently working on based on the grandeur of Godfrey Ho's output in the late 80s - enjoy!
