Happy 15th Birthday, Shadow the Hedgehog (the game). This time was mainly possible by the new route wurzelfreak came up with after review past runs by Azurillkirby and I with some community discussion. I did a small tweak to the path order, but otherwise I mainly just ran the paths with my level mission routes. With my previous route, I made the mistake of thinking that I was going faster by trying to optimize paths to get through story mode faster to get weapons faster to make levels faster. Turns out that was just wrong as even Azurillkirby's route from year or so previous to my route was faster, I just happened to play well enough to beat his time despite the route. This run was my second attempt at this route and it matched my story mode time and shaved off 40 minutes in select mode. I am looking forward to trying to find ways of optimizing this run further. A lot of the time save in this route is due to not crashing at all, which is quite amazing, and having most things fresh in my memory as I had just finish a run of this route 2 days prior. I was expecting around 6 hours and 20 minutes, but under 6 hours is a very nice surprise.
