Monmouth County - Manasquan - Manasquan Inlet - Water & Jetty Rescue. Around 1:48 PM Manasquan Police received a call for a swimmer in distress inside the Manasquan Inlet. Upon arrival of FD & PD one was in the water at the start of the jetty just over the rails. He reportedly had a medical episode and fell into the inlet. Marine 27 arrived on scene and got one out of the water onto the bottom of the rocks, he had face lacerations and hyperthermia. USCG was only on scene in their small boat 29ft. South Wall Technical Rescue was requested to help with the hoist out of the jetty rocks. They successfully packaged the patient and hoisted him up the rocks to Belmar EMS and was transported to Jersey Shore University Medical Center. No further updates. Instagram - JerseyShoreFireResponse
