O'Neill Park has many trails. Some of it's trails are not for riding. The main MTB trails are Live Oak, Vista, Coyote, Twisted Tire (Twisty Tire), and Mesa. Vista MTB trail is the most popular mountain bike trail in the park and here is a link to it. • MTB Vista Trail 2020 | O'Neill Park | Trab... Many of us are confused on the name of Twisted Tire and call it Twisty Tire. I don't know why this is, but I do it all the time. We are mountain biking Twisted Tire and Live Oak trails today. Both trails are beginner to intermediate Trails. The Live Oak trail is a long trail that runs along the top of the main ridge in the park and it is mainly fireroad. The end near Arroyo Trabuco Trail is single trail and my favorite part of the trail. Twisted Tire runs parallel to a road so it is great for groups. Some mountain bike riders will take the trail and others the road. At the top of Twisted Tire is the Mesa trail which is a flat fireroad also paralleling a street inside the park. O'neill park has a fence surrounded the main area and they lock the gates at Sunset. There are many other trails outside the main area of the park. Many people consider the Las Flores and Ladera Ranch trails to be part of O'neill Park, but they are many miles away.
