Puran poli recipe simple and easy puran poli ki recipe... #shorts #ytshorts #youtubeshort #viral #viralshorts Puran poli is a traditional Indian sweet flatbread that is made by stuffing a filling of sweet lentils (called Puran) inside a dough made of flour and ghee. Here is a recipe to make puran poli: Ingredients: For the filling (Puran): 1 cup of chana dal (split Bengal gram) 1 cup of jaggery (or brown sugar) 1 tsp of cardamom powder 1/2 tsp of nutmeg powder 2 tbsp of ghee For the dough: 1.5 cups of whole wheat flour 2 tbsp of ghee A pinch of salt Water as needed Instructions: To make the filling (Puran), wash the chana dal in water and soak it in water for at least 1 hour. After 1 hour, drain the water from the chana dal and add it to a pressure cooker with 2 cups of water. Cook the chana dal until it is completely soft and mushy. This will take about 3-4 whistles on high flame. Once the pressure is released, open the cooker and add jaggery or brown sugar to it. Mix well and cook on low flame until the jaggery melts and the mixture thickens. Keep stirring to prevent the mixture from sticking to the bottom. Add cardamom powder, nutmeg powder and ghee to the mixture and mix well. Cook for another 5 minutes until the mixture thickens further. Once done, let it cool down completely. To make the dough, take whole wheat flour, ghee and salt in a mixing bowl. Add water as needed and knead it to a soft and smooth dough. Cover and let it rest for 30 minutes. Divide the dough into equal sized balls and flatten them. Take a ball of the Puran mixture and place it in the center of the flattened dough. Bring the edges of the dough together to enclose the filling and form a ball. Flatten it slightly and dust with some flour. Roll out the dough gently to make a thin flatbread of about 6-7 inches in diameter. Heat a tawa or a flat griddle on medium flame. Once hot, place the rolled out puran poli on the tawa and cook it for 30 seconds on one side. Flip the puran poli and cook the other side for another 30 seconds. Spread some ghee on both sides and cook until it is golden brown in color. Once done, transfer the puran poli to a plate and repeat the process for the remaining dough and filling. Serve hot with some ghee or milk. #puranpoli #maharashtrianfood #foodie #foodblogger #foodphotography #indianfood #food #gudipadwa #foodlover #foodstagram #navratri #foodporn #foodies #festivefood #lunch #sweets #goodfoodhygiene #breakfast #punevegeatouts #instafood #navratrispecial #ukadichemodak #upawasthalipeeth #joshisweets #orderfoodonline #jug #vratrecipe #sabudanawada #sabudanakhichadi #bhfyp #food #foodporn #foodie #instafood #foodphotography #foodstagram #yummy #foodblogger #foodlover #instagood #love #delicious #follow #like #healthyfood #homemade #dinner #foodgasm #tasty #photooftheday #foodies #restaurant #cooking #lunch #picoftheday #bhfyp #foodpics #instagram #healthy #chef
