As I wrap up this series, I wanted to talk about something we don’t discuss enough: How to support someone who’s struggling. Not as a therapist. Not as an expert. Just as a human being. Over the past year, I’ve learned that most people genuinely want to help — they just don’t know how. They’re afraid of saying the wrong thing. Of making it worse. Of not being enough. But you don’t have to fix someone’s pain to support them. In this video, I share simple, practical ways to show up for someone navigating depression, emotional overwhelm, or a difficult season — including: • Why a simple “thinking of you” matters • The power of quiet presence • How not to take distance personally • Small, tangible ways to offer support • What to say when you sense something isn’t right • And why you don’t need to be someone’s therapist to make a difference If you’re the one struggling, this message is for you too. Healing isn’t linear. Support doesn’t have to be perfect. And no one should have to carry heavy seasons alone. If this resonates, I’m grateful you’re here. If you are in crisis or need immediate help, please contact a licensed professional or a local mental health resource in your area. This video reflects personal experience and is not medical advice.
