📝 Ingredients: • Fresh green chillies • Juice of 2 lemons • Salt to taste • 1 tsp cumin seeds • 1 tsp fennel seeds • 1 tsp nigella seeds (kalonji) • ½ tsp fenugreek seeds • 2 tsp coriander seeds • 2 tbsp oil • 1 tsp turmeric powder • 1 tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder • 1 tsp chaat masala • 2 tbsp jaggery powder • 1 small cup water 👩🍳 Method: 1. Wash the green chillies properly and wipe them dry. Remove the stems and make a slit in the center of each chilli. 2. Add juice of 2 lemons and some salt. Mix well and keep aside for 1 minute. 3. Heat a pan and dry roast: • Cumin seeds • Fennel seeds • Nigella seeds • Fenugreek seeds • Coriander seeds Roast until aromatic, then grind them into a coarse powder. 4. In the same pan, add 2 tbsp oil. Add turmeric powder, Kashmiri red chilli powder, and chaat masala. Mix well. 5. Add the slit green chillies and sauté properly. 6. Add 2 tablespoons of the prepared roasted spice powder and mix well. 7. Add 1 small cup of water, mix, cover and cook for 1 minute. 8. Now add jaggery powder and the remaining lemon juice (including the leftover lemon juice from earlier). 9. Cover again and cook for 2–3 minutes, or until: • The chillies become soft • All the water is absorbed 10. Once the chillies are soft and nicely coated with masala, turn off the flame.
