MV Cenred. Final day of 'C' Class operations on the Solent. 12th March 2009.

A compilation of stills and video clips. I was fortunate to be able to grab a final round trip aboard MV Cenred, the last operational 'C' Class Lymington to Yarmouth car ferry, on her final day of operation. I previously thought I had missed my opportunity, but a hydraulic fault on Wight Light meant Cenred was hastily brought back into service, so I grabbed my chance. Her passenger certificate expired at the end of that day, and indeed the following day she was moved to Marchwood for lay up, before eventually being scrapped in Denmark the following year. Apologies for the sound distortion (wind in microphone) at the start of the footage.
