MV Cenred. Last day in service.

The very last day of 'C' Class service, on the Lymington to Yarmouth route, on 12th March 2009. 'Cenred' was brought back into service, due to a prow failure on one of the new 'Wight' Class vessels. The following day Cenred left Lymington for the final time, she being the last remaining 'C' Class vessel on the river. She joined her two sisters, 'Caedmon' and 'Cenwulf' for lay up at Marchwood, where they were to remain for over a year, prior to being towed to Denmark for scrapping. Apologies for the poor sound quality in parts of the video. It was a blustery day, but I hope I have managed to capture some of the familiar sights and sounds of the 'C' Class vessels.
