#Samosa #Punjabi Samosa Ingredients FOR STUFFING:- Boiled Potato - 2 Boiled Green Peas - 2 Tablespoon Ghee/Clarified Butter - 4 Teaspoon Cumin/Jeera seeds - 1/2 Teaspoon Saunf/Fennel Seeds - 1/2 Teaspoon Asafoetida/Hing - a pinch Ginger-Green Chilli paste - 1 Teaspoon or as per taste Chaat Masala - 1 Teaspoon Garam Masala/All Spice Mix - 1 Teaspoon Dry Mango Powder/Amchur - 1/2 Teaspoon Coriander Leaves - a handful, chopped Salt - to taste FOR THE DOUGH:- Refined Flour - 6 Tablespoon Rava/Semolina - 2 Tablespoon Salt - to taste Ghee/Clarified butter - 3 Teaspoon Oil - as required for frying Instructions 1.PREPARING THE DOUGH:- In a bowl, add refined flour, semolina, ghee, and salt. Mix well and add water to make a stiff dough. Cover and keep the dough aside for 10 minutes. 2.PREPARING THE STUFFING:- 1)Heat ghee in a pan. 2)Add asafoetida, cumin seeds, and fennel seeds. Let the seeds crackle. 3)Then add ginger-green chilli paste. Sauté for a few seconds. 4)Add boiled potato and boiled green peas. Mix well and mash the potato with a spoon. 5)Add salt, chaat masala, and dry mango powder. Mix well. Cook for a minute and then turn off the flame. Let it cool completely. 3.PREPARING THE SAMOSA:- 1)Knead the dough for 2 to 3 minutes to make it smooth. 2)Divide the dough in 3 equal parts. 3)Take a ball and roll it to make a roti. Cut it into 2 semi-circle. 4)Take one semi-circle and fold it to make cone. The fill the stuffing in it. 5)Apply water on the edges and seal it properly. Place the samosa on a plate. 6)Cover the samosa with wet muslin cloth. Keep it in the refrigerator for 10 to 15 minutes. 7)After 15 minutes, heat oil for frying. 8)Once the oil is medium hot, fry the samosa on a low-medium flame. 9)When the samosa turns nice golden brown, take it out on a tissue paper. 10)Delicious 'Samosa | Punjabi Samosa' is ready to be served.
