Ozempic is Semaglutide. It is sold under the brand name Ozempic and a few other names like WeGovy and others. Ozempic is an anti-diabetic medication used for the treatment of type 2 diabetes and long-term weight management. (I am using it for long-term weight loss) Semaglutide increases insulin secretion, thereby increasing sugar metabolism. I DO NOT have type 2 diabetes, I asked my Doctor about weight management medication, I did my research, and she gave me her opinion on what weight management would be best for me and that's how I got onto ozempic. This medication cannot be bought over the counter it does have to be prescribed to you by a doctor.
