Isle of Wight - Ventnor Part 1 On the south coast of the Isle of Wight is a small town call Ventnor situated on a steep hillside between the downs ad the sea. You get stunning views as you wind you way into the town through the narrow and twisty streets. I parked in the town centre then walked down to the beach soaking up the details. I past a young boy climbing the bandstand and got into trouble with his mother and tried to wiggle out of it by blaming me for instructing him to go. Little shit... The beach has different colours which gives and interesting vibe. I noticed the locals were friendly and happy to chat. I found a pub called the SpyGlass overlooking the sea and enjoyed a shepherds pie. Highly recommended. The terrain is built up of multiple layers of deposits and this causes issues with subsidence along this coastline. Part 2 - I will walk along the coast west to Steep Hill Cove.
