If you are ready to take on a weekly workout split ⬇️ The Ultimate Workout Split is the fitness program and weekly gym routine of yours truly. It has evolved and been refined over many years of training. The Ultimate Workout Split combines the same handful of big compound movements. It involves the simple, tried-and-true approach to gaining strength and honing your physique, which is the pursuit of developing muscle groups instead of individual muscles. This program should be followed for at least a year, but I recommend you do it for longer before you advance to a more advanced split with a more diverse array of exercises. Personally, I'm about 4 years into this split and still making progress. I wrote and tried a version 2.0 of The Ultimate Workout Split with a wider array of exercises, but I always return to this original version. There is a place for targeting individual muscles as opposed to muscle groups, but the most bang for your buck will always be the same small handful of big compound movements.
