Novotel off Grand Place, Brussels. We stayed in Brussels for 2 nights, having travelled by THALYS train from Paris. Thank God the trains were running since we flew into Paris right during their strike. The hotel was not too bad - the 4 of us squeezed into one room, as you will see in the video. It was called a Superior Room with 2 sofa beds. While the room was definitely very cosy, it was comfortable. We didn’t pre-buy breakfast as we didn’t know what to expect (and whether we wanted to eat breakfast in the hotel). Turned out that we ate breakfast on two mornings since our kids are free. The cost per adult was €22. So we paid a total of €44 for the 4 of us. The most interesting part of the breakfast was the pancake machine. The location of the hotel was what attracted us to book it.
