✨ Welcome to The Lake District Yogi And welcome to the fourth class in this six week series, A Journey into Yoga for Complete Beginners This series is designed to introduce you to the basic building blocks of yoga, supporting you to build a sustainable practice from the foundations up. The focus of this fourth class is expanding your energy. This is a full body class, building on what we have learnt so far and culminating in exploring a couple of strong, classic poses - downward facing dog and warrior two. This slightly longer class contains lots of verbal instruction as we explore these strong, energising asanas. In this video I use a blanket and a couple of yoga blocks. These are by no means essential but if you have them then bring them to your mat. If you don't have blocks you can always fashion some out of a pile of sturdy books. I hope you enjoy this nourishing practice.
