I went down into St Editha’s Crypt to have a look around, and learn about the history of its amazing charnel house. The Crypt dates from Saxon times. It was dug in the graveyard to the south of the church, but the north aisle of the fourth incarnation of St Editha's brought it into the church. In this video you can see contemporaneous drawings of it when it was still being used a charnel house. For the record, this is the first video I filmed with my new gimbal. unfortunately I made the mistake of reducing the stabilisation on my phone camera to save processing power, and as a result you can't see any improvement at all! Hopefully the next attempt will be better! Thanks for watching!
