Corey smoked some delicous meat for a dinner with new friends, and we prepared for an early day heading into Glacier National Park and driving the Going To The Sun Road for the first time. Somehow we did not plan well for this day and forgot donuts and coffee! What is going on? We headed out early to get to Logan’s Pass and try to get a parking spot before it was filled up. We were welcomed by Big Horn Sheep fighting over food and headed out to see the views from Hidden Lake Overlook. The lake was so incredible that we decided to hike all the way down to the water. Even if you don’t take the steep part down to the lake, definitely walk out past the overlook as the views, even just a little way down the path, are incredible! We wrapped up the day driving all the way to Many Glacier and then enjoying the ride back over Going to the Sun Road with the many different view points that you get with the changes in sunlight and direction.
