In this video, we explore the fascinating capital city of Nay Pyi Taw, Myanmar, a place known for its massive infrastructure, wide highways, and grand monuments. Our journey begins at the beautiful Jade Garden, where stunning jade stones and sculptures showcase Myanmar’s deep connection with precious gems. We then visit the Gem Museum, which displays some of the country’s most famous treasures including rubies, sapphires, and rare jade stones. Myanmar has long been known as one of the world’s richest sources of gemstones. Next, we explore the magnificent Uppatasanti Pagoda, one of the most iconic landmarks of Nay Pyi Taw. This golden pagoda, inspired by the famous Shwedagon Pagoda in Yangon, stands as a symbol of peace and spiritual beauty. During the journey, we also encounter real live Burmese elephants, animals that hold great cultural and historical importance in Myanmar and have been part of the country’s traditions for centuries. Another highlight is the impressive Maravijaya Buddha, a giant 63-foot marble Buddha statue carved from a single block of marble. It is one of the newest and most remarkable Buddhist monuments in the country. As we travel around the city, you’ll also see the unique landscapes of Nay Pyi Taw — huge government complexes, peaceful surroundings, and the famous multi-lane wide roads that make the city look both grand and mysterious.
