Proyecto DALCA, "Mediación"

Con el objetivo de visibilizar nuestra metodología, realizamos mediaciones en tres comunas de Chiloé (Quemchi, Castro y Quellón) y en las capitales regionales de la zona austral: Punta Arenas, Coyhaique y Puerto Montt, donde el público pudo replicar los ejercicios investigativos del Laboratorio de Navegación Patrimonial (LNP). Durante el desarrollo de las mediaciones en Chiloé, pusimos a prueba los ejercicios que facilitaron la construcción de la Dalca Experimental (a la que llamamos cariñosamente Dalca BB), para apreciarla con todos sus detalles en vivo y en directo. Estas actividades y las conferencias entre regiones representan una gran oportunidad para estrechar lazos entre distintos campos de conocimiento que involucran principalmente a la navegación, la cultura y el patrimonio del sur de Chile, donde el propósito principal obedece a visibilizar su relevancia a nivel internacional. En este resumen, subtitulado en lengua de señas chilena por Valetina Calvetti ‪@valentinacalvettibravo4135‬ intentamos resumir un proyecto que inició en verano de 2024 en las afueras del Museo Dalcahue, y sigue moviéndose entre Puerto Aysén, Punta Arenas y el Lago Chapo. Itinerancia de Dalca y Laboratorio de Navegación Patrimonial F/763119 es un proyecto fondart financiado por ‪@culturaloslagos3423‬ con el apoyo de ‪‪@restauropatrimonio‬ y la Ilustre Municipalidad de Dalcahue. With the aim of showcasing our methodology, we held mediation sessions in three municipalities in Chiloé (Quemchi, Castro, and Quellón) and in the southern macrozone’s regional capitals—Punta Arenas, Coyhaique, and Puerto Montt—where the public was able to replicate the research exercises developed by the Heritage Navigation Laboratory (LNP). During the mediation sessions in Chiloé, we put into practice the exercises that enabled the construction of the Experimental Dalca (affectionately nicknamed “Dalca BB”), allowing participants to see it up close, in full detail, and in real time. These activities, along with the inter-regional talks, offer a valuable opportunity to strengthen ties across different fields of knowledge—primarily navigation, culture, and heritage in southern Chile—with the overarching goal of highlighting their international relevance. In this summary, subtitled in Chilean Sign Language by Valentina Calvetti (@valentinacalvettibravo4135), we aim to condense a project that began in the summer of 2024 on the grounds outside the Dalcahue Museum and continues to travel between Puerto Aysén, Punta Arenas, and Lake Chapo.
