Since 2018, Normet and Lekatech have worked together to advance hammering technology, and the results are clear. The challenging conditions of hard rock mine Pyhäsalmi, with its nearly 1.5 km depth, provided the perfect setting to demonstrate the electric hammer’s high-impact performance and efficiency. This successful test marks a significant step towards more sustainable and efficient mining operations.
