Our plan A, B, C and D didn’t work as we hoped so we ended up just doing the hike to Miners Beach overlooking Pictured Rocks and swimming in Lake Superior for the first time! We got to swim in 3 Great Lakes in just a couple weeks! It was awesome though a little chilly! 😂 We headed out of the UP toward our next big dot in Whitefish, Montana, but wanted to stop and check out Theodore Roosevelt National Park on our way. We headed to Fargo for the night and grabbed some Five Guys fries for a quick dinner and had to pull over to drone some sunflower fields while a massive shelf cloud came toward us. It was one of the most beautiful sunsets we have ever seen! We headed out and got in front of the storm only to be woken up in the night by a weather alert and decided to get back on the road to try to outrun the storm coming.
