Ohio Pressure Builds on Intel, It’s CEO

U.S. Senator Bernie Moreno, the one statewide Ohio politician who is going rogue, is they only one who was not there for the groundbreaking three years ago. Moreno this week joined President Trump in calling for Intel CEO Lip-Bu Tan to resign because of his business ties to the Chinese government. And Moreno says Intel should be investigate Intel for fraud for how it’s using government money for its factory projects. Intel responded by saying it remains deeply committed to advancing U.S. national security and economic security interests. WOSU’s Mike Thompson and the Columbus on the Record panel also discusses President Trump’s role in Ohio’s upcoming congressional redistricting, reports that Sherrod Brown is planning a run for U.S. Senate and the fall out from a viral video of a Cincinnati brawl.
