In this closing chapter, we revisit the Carousel Motel, the Blue Mist Motel, the Chateau, the Marco Polo Hotel, the Golden Gate Hotel and the aptly named Last Resort -the final geographical motel in Sunny Isles before the border with Golden Beach. Unlike the earlier streets filled with neon signs and futuristic mid-century designs, the 190th Streets mark a softer ending to the story. The Marco Polo stands as the last major survivor, a reminder of the era when Sunny Isles Beach was known as "Motel Row," long before the skyline of luxury towers took over. Originally, this episode was meant to continue into Golden Beach, but out of respect for the privacy of the residents of that community, the journey ends here, at the quiet edge of Sunny Isles, where the motel era fades into private homes and a different kind of history. This video concludes the entire Sunny Isles Series, from haulover to the Castaways, from the 150s to the Jetson-style motels of the 180s.
