Positioned as a “new family rugged” SUV, the V27 combines lifestyle practicality with off-road capability, featuring high ground clearance and large 19-inch or optional 21-inch wheels that reinforce its adventure-ready design. The vehicle uses an extended-range electric powertrain that pairs a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine acting as a generator with either a single rear electric motor or a dual-motor all-wheel-drive setup. In its most powerful configuration, the system produces up to 335 kW (about 449 hp), allowing the SUV to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in roughly 5.5 seconds. Power is supplied by a 34.3 kWh lithium-iron-phosphate battery from CATL, delivering an estimated 210 km of pure electric driving range under the CLTC cycle, while the range-extender system helps achieve a combined driving range of more than 1,200 km. Inside, the iCAR V27 emphasizes modern technology and intelligent driving features. The cabin centers around a large 15.4-inch 2.5K infotainment display powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295P chip, providing fast processing and advanced connectivity. Higher-spec versions are equipped with LiDAR and the Horizon Robotics Journey 6P processor, capable of delivering up to 560 TOPS of computing power to support advanced driver-assistance functions such as navigation on autopilot. With its combination of electric efficiency, strong performance, and off-road-inspired design, the V27 is expected to launch in early 2026 with an estimated price range of around 200,000 to 250,000 yuan.
