I was also in a very good spot to set a camera up in landscape without having to think about it much during the show, it didn't detract from the moment. This was a great show, a very groove-oriented side of SWANS compared to the shows they've been playing since 2023. At the time of writing I still haven't listened to their 2025 album The Beggar but this set is full of mostly new music so that doesn't seem to be relevant. It's hard to say goodbye to this lineup of SWANS, the self-proclaimed "big sound," as they continue to play strong shows, create new material, and make changes as they go. You really need to experience Swans live to fully understand it, it's a visceral experience that demands your attention, but this gives a bit of a glimpse for those who couldn't make a show. Swans puts on the loudest concerts I've ever been to - no contest. COMMENTS FROM ‪@colesondilbeck4582‬ aka ‪@strangerecordings4648‬ An excellent and well balanced matrix of the complete show. the TASCAM source was recorded up in the balcony to the left of the stage and the MV88 recording was done on the floor inbetween Michael and Kristof. Set is somewhat more concise than usual but a very enjoyable performance. The video was recorded by nkLottery (the TASCAM source) on a Google Pixel 5, did some color grading to make the reds less harsh and reduced the total filesize from 40GB to 20.
