The Deathly Hallows Bowl - Harry Potter Craft Idea, woodturning project

In this woodturning project I work to create a bowl for Philippa and Craig. They have asked for a dark bowl with the deathly hallows sign inlaid into the base. I use oak to make the bowl and then darken it with a home made ebonising fluid/ink. The inlay was created by mixing aluminium powder in epoxy resign. This Happy Potter themed craft ideas was a huge success. This woodturning channel, explores the uses of wood when combined with resin, epoxy, to make woodturning projects, that are easy and can be classed as art. A lot of the wood turning projects I make can be completed by the beginner through to the more experienced wood turner.
