In this woodturning video I turn an ebonised oak bowl inlaid with aluminium swarf. The swarf is set into a black epoxy resin and then turned flat and polished. Ebonising is the technique of blackening wood. This woodturning channel, explores the uses of wood when combined with resin, epoxy, to make woodturning projects, that are easy and can be classed as art. A lot of the wood turning projects I make can be completed by the beginner through to the more experienced wood turner.
