Saturday, January 31st update — and this week is all about adjusting the model again based on what’s actually happening in the store. We go over month-to-date numbers and take a walk through the sales floor to show our newest buy and how we’ve started adding pallets back onto the floor. We spaced them out so customers can properly see what’s on each pallet, and we now have two pallet offerings available. The response on Facebook Marketplace has already been strong, with a lot of interested buyers reaching out. In this video I explain how I’m teaching customers to research pallet value for themselves so they can determine if something makes sense for their business. I also talk about an upcoming Valentine’s event, our $4 bin day, and a recent buy that we originally planned to sell as pallets but decided to turn into mystery boxes instead after surveying customers. We go through: How we’ll curate the mystery boxes How we’re dialing in our offerings based on what comes in vs. what moves out Why getting capital back quickly matters more than anything right now Restarting geofencing for marketing How a local thrift store bought inventory from us during liquidation I also break down bin day performance and the feedback we’ve been getting. Many customers are waiting until $4 day to buy items they should have purchased on $14 or $7 days — and that’s changing how we’re thinking about pricing and strategy moving forward. This is a real-time look at how we’re adjusting our model, responding to customer behavior, and trying to keep inventory flowing without getting stuck holding too much. If you’ve been following along, you’ll see how much has changed. If you’re new here, this is what running a liquidation and resale business actually looks like behind the scenes. ➡️ Subscribe for honest updates on pallets, bins, pricing strategy, and what it takes to keep this business moving.
