Beyond RGB: Achieving Color Accuracy using Practical Imaging Methods, Leah Humenuck & Susan Farnand

Leah Humenuck presented a talk by her and Prof. Susan Farnand, as part of the Society for Imaging Science and Technology (IS&T) Rochester NY chapter seminar series, on 20 Nov. 2024. Spectral imaging is a useful tool for cultural heritage imaging. However, it has traditionally been a high barrier to entry for many smaller and mid-sized institutions. A solution to this is the recent advancements of practical imaging techniques that allow turning a traditional camera into a spectral one using two different lighting conditions. Beyond RGB is free and open-source spectral processing software.
