Reignite Profitable Growth (RPG): https://gwmonti.github.io/rpg-landing... In this video, I explore why forcing clarity often backfires—especially for leaders working in complex environments where problems don’t have a single, correct solution. Using a deceptively simple example—the development of this channel’s thumbnail—I unpack two core frames that shape how I work with leaders: Secular Buddhist practice as a discipline for grounding, respect, and clear seeing Wicked problems as challenges that don’t have the solution, only a solution that must emerge When leaders push for certainty in environments that are no longer stable, the instinct to clamp down can actually make things worse. Complexity theory describes this shift as moving from stable ground to a dancing terrain—where variables change and the rules themselves begin to move. In these conditions, leadership requires: Letting go of premature conclusions Moving from being judgmental to being discerning Distributing decision-making closer to where problems are experienced Developing the ability to detect distortions before they harden into bad decisions This way of working—combining complexity theory with secular Buddhist practice—is practiced more deeply in Reignite Profitable Growth (RPG), a leadership practicum designed for leaders working with real, unresolved challenges in real organizations.
