This is a GoPro helmet camera view of another 2:26 lap at COTA. Christmas at Circuit of the Americas with Edge Addicts on December 20-21, 2025 - just having fun at the only purpose-built Formula 1 track in the US before it goes private membership model in 2027 - probably maybe one last time to drive here. Personal best 2:26, smashed the old PB by 10 seconds on pretty much all stock OEM car. This video is not the absolute fastest lap time of the weekend but that's also a 2:26 consistent lap time in every session, the weekend's fastest lap was 2:26.5 (the helmet cam view of the fastest lap was overexposed and had bad white-balance video) Car: Mostly-OEM stock 2020 Chevrolet Corvette C8 Z51 Modifications: V09 auxiliary radiator on driver side (Middle East spec car) No powertrain mods, no aero mods Track alignment: -3.5F and -3.0R camber, +0.05 toe all corners, AMT alignment lockout kit Tires: Vitour P1 with 4 heat cycles, OE-stock sizing 245/35R19 and 305/30R20 on base OE wheels Brakes: KNS blank single-piece OE-style rotors with Cobalt XR2 pads Track conditions: cloudy and windy, 70-75F ambient in afternoon sessions Sad to see that grassroot motorsports community are getting pushed out - we lost two tracks this year: Pittsburgh International Race Complex (AI data center bought out the land) and Lanier Raceway (turns into condo complex), and we will likely lose COTA in 2027. So, enjoy the tracks we have while we can! I'm heading back to COTA for Christmas 2026 for one last time, with a real set of R-compound tires...
